Ecotourism in Koh Kong Province



Areng and Chi Phat ecotourism sites have new and exciting tourist attractions.
Koh Kong Province is a fertile province of ancient wildlife, which is attracting adventure tours lovers. In the area of Areng and Chi Phat, ecotourism sites are two of the most potential areas, with mountains, waterfalls and antiques. The Areng ecotourism site is about 24 kilometers away from Thmor Bang District, in the area of Phum Chum Nab, Chom Nab commune, Thmar Bang district, has the first potential, second is Hilly, third is waterfalls, forth is Wildlife, fifth is Dragon Fish, sixth is Crocodile Mountains, seventh is Ancient caves and Traditional dance.

The Chi Pat ecotourism, about 80 km from Koh Kong Town, has the strongest potential, waterfalls, Wildlife, Landscape by river, Ancient jar, and Mountainous. The Chi Pat ecotourism is located in Chi Phat Village, Chi Phat Commune, Thmor Bang District, Koh Kong Province.


In addition to the most famous tourist attractions in Koh Kong, there are three other potential areas including wild waterfall, forest, wildlife, elephant stone, elephant in the village of Koh Por Village, Pak Kang Commune, Mondul Seima District. Meanwhile, Po Beung village and Chea Keo village in Doping has also many potential areas such as waterfall, scenic scenery, riverside, wildlife and mountain forests.

Apart from the ecotourism community of Chit Pat and Areng ecotourism community, Koh Kong has many natural potential attractions, attracting national and international tourists. The Koh Kong Community Protected Area Koh Kapi Village, Koh Kapi Commune, Koh Kong District, Koh Kong Province, 22 km from the provincial town with the potential of rounded islands, mangroves, coconut beach, early pagodas, sandy beaches and water birds.

The Boeung Kachang Protected Area Community is located in Boeung Kachang Village, Pak Kant Commune, Mondul Seima District, Koh Kong Province, 11 km from the provincial town with potential mangrove forests, beach beaches, dolphins, cruises and sunset views.
